API Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Waldom's APIs, including the Inventory and Pricing API. By accessing or using our APIs, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.

Permitted Use (Inventory and Pricing API)

These terms apply to your use of the Inventory and Pricing APIs:

1. Distributor ERP:  Distributors may display and integrate 100% of Waldom’s inventory into their ERP systems to manage inventory and pricing data.
2. Distributor Website  Distributors may display and integrate 100% of Waldom’s inventory on their websites or e-commerce platforms. It is recommended to label Waldom’s inventory as “Partner Stock.”
3. Manufacturer Websites: Distributors are not permitted to submit Waldom's inventory to any manufacturer’s website. We recommend that distributor partners review their supplier contracts for any specific language concerning posting partner inventory via the aggregators.
4. Aggregator Websites: Distributors may publish Waldom’s inventory to approved third-party aggregator websites provided they follow the outlined rules of engagement :
1. Inventory can only be submitted to third parties if the inventory is also shown on the distributor’s own website.
2. Inventory will be submitted to third parties under the manufacturer’s brand, not under the Waldom brand.
3. The distributor submits the inventory in line with the aggregator-specific logic outlined below::
1. FindChips: Add comment to stock: "Partner Stock."
2. TrustedParts: Add comment to stock: "Factory Stock."
3. OEMsTrade: Add comment to stock: "Partner Stock."
4. Octopart: No additional comments required.
5. MyMectronic: No additional comments required.

Prohibited Use and Restrictions (Inventory and Pricing API)

1. Manufacturer Restrictions: Waldom reserves the right to restrict certain manufacturer brands from being part of this engagement. Restrictions may apply during the integration process based on manufacturer-specific limitations in your region. Manufacturers have the right to prohibit distributors from feeding their stock to third-party aggregators.
2. Direct API Access: Distributors may integrate Waldom’s inventory into their own APIs for customer use but may not provide direct access to Waldom’s Inventory and Pricing API to any third parties.
3. No Unauthorized Redistribution: Distributors may not resell or allow third-party access to Waldom’s Inventory and Pricing API itself. Inventory data can be shared through your systems, but not through direct access to Waldom’s APIs.

Fair Use Policy

The Fair Use Policy applies to all API services. Waldom reserves the right to monitor and throttle API usage in the case of abuse or excessive API calls.

Security and Confidentiality

You are responsible for the security of your API credentials and any data obtained through our APIs.

Compliance with Laws

You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your use of the APIs.

Termination of Access

We reserve the right to revoke API access if these terms are violated.

While we strive to ensure the availability and reliability of our APIs, occasional maintenance or unforeseen circumstances may require temporary interruptions. Waldom is committed to providing prompt notice of any significant changes or planned downtime.
